Is Medical Marijuana Legal for personal use ?
Medical cannabis is legal under state and local law. Voters in California legalized the use, cultivation, and possession of cannabis for those with a doctor’s recommendation or approval when they adopted Proposition 215 in 1996, also known as The Compassion Use Act. Within California, the Act allows for the recommendation by a physician for the medical use of marijuana by a patient, and the cultivation, transportation and use of marijuana for medical purposes by patients and caregivers. The Compassionate Use Act exempts patients, caregivers and physicians who recommend the use of marijuana for medical purposes from criminal laws, punishment, or the denial of any rights or privileges. Senate Bill (SB) 420 (Chapter 875, Statutes of 2003) was written into law in December of 2003 (see California Health and Safety Code, Article 2.5, Sections 11362.7 through 11362.83) and is part of California law to this date.

What is an Indica?
Indica originally come from the hash producing countries of the world like Afghanistan, Tibet and Morocco. Indica flowers will be thick and dense, with flavors and aromas ranging from pungent skunk to spicy and fruity. Indica generally create a body high that is relaxing and medicinal. Indica have higher CBD than THC count, which equals a much heavier sleepy type of high that is good for a variety of medical problems.
Indica may treat:
Anxiety

Sativa originally come from Mexico, Colombia, Thailand and Southeast Asia. They have flavors that range from earthy to sweet and fruity. Sativa has a higher THC than CBD count, which equals a more cerebral, soaring type of high. Sativa has an energetic high, which can stimulate brain activity and may even produce hallucinations. They can be very beneficial for people with depression and anxiety.

What is a Hybrid?
Hybrid: Hybrids are created to keep certain desired characteristics from Indica and Sativa plants. By altering the ratio of indica and sativa influences, growers can breed hybrids for a particular high, flavor, and aroma. Most marijuana varieties available today are hybrids as they bring together the best of both Indica and Sativa marijuana characteristics.
Hybrids and cross-breeds of indica and sativa strains produce varieties that carry some characteristics of each parent. For example, adding sativa to indica strains adds mental clarity and decreases sedation effects. And adding indica to sativa strains can decrease or even eliminate the sativa tendency to stimulate anxiety. Common strains include OG Kush, Himalayan Gold, Blue Cross, 00 Diesel and Kandy Kush.
Hybrids are often referred to based upon the dominant sub-species inherited from their lineage, eg: pure indica, mostly indica, mostly sativa, or pure sativa. Instead of using pure indica or pure sativa, many patients can benefit from the use of hybrid strains. There are a vast number of strains available for patients, each with a different cannabinoid profile and effect.

What if I find that my pre-weighed meds are short on weight after I receive them?
All meds are pre-weighed and triple checked for accuracy at or location on state sanctioned scales. We often over weigh our denominations slightly just to ensure that no accidental under weighing will occur. All of our drivers are equipped with scales in case you would like to verify the weight before completing the transaction. You are free to request that the driver weigh your meds out for you while he is in your presence to verify that you are in fact receiving your requested weight. If you choose not to have the driver weigh your meds out for you then that is fine as well. We are confident that the meds you will be donating will be at your requested weight if not slightly more. Once the driver leaves your delivery address and your donation has been exchanged for the meds, we will consider the transaction closed and final.
What if I don't have my donation ready in exact change when the driver arrives?
If you do not have your donation ready when the driver arrives, and you are requesting that the driver wait for you to arrange payment, your order will be cancelled and a $10 surcharge will be assessed to you next order.
What happens if I change my mind and cancel my order after the driver arrives?
There will be a $10 surcharge assessed to you next order and you will run the risk of being banned if future cancellations follow. Furthermore, for cancelled orders where a long distance fee is required for delivery, there will be a $15 surcharge assessed to you next order and you will run the risk of being banned if future cancellations follow.
What happened to the free preroll with online order special?
The Free Preroll with all online orders offer was introduced to celebrate our grand opening. We have discontinued this special offer as of 3/28/12 however we invite you to take advantage of our other existing great deals.
What can I do if I'm not satisfied with my meds?
We take a lot of pride in the meds we offer to our patients and potential patients. Although an extremely rare occurrence, we do understand that a difference of opinion may occur between our staff and our patients in regards to quality. We can accept and appreciate this fact. Please be sure to inspect the meds presented to you to ensure your satisfaction BEFORE you decide to make your donation. You are always free to refuse our service if you find it is not up to your standards. Unfortunately, once the driver leaves your delivery address and your donation has been exchanged for the meds, we will consider the transaction closed and final. Refunds, exchanges or credits are not offered under any circumstance.
